About this workshop

At the workshop, we'll discuss how to change the position of an object. What are simple mechanisms? How can levers be used for this purpose? What types of levers exist? Is there a gain in performance when using a lever? As an example, we'll make a Bogorodsk toy based on the "Blacksmiths" toy.

What you will build

At the workshop, we'll explore types of levers and find examples of levers. We'll make a "Bogorodsk toy" out of cardboard, modeled after "The Blacksmiths."

No previous STEM or science experience is required; curiosity and a willingness to build, experiment, and ask questions are all you need.
