Robotics & engineering education in Finland

Build. Explore. Think. Create.

At Roboskills children and teenagers learn engineering by building real robots, devices and smart systems — not by memorising theory.

    What is Roboskills?

A place where young people stop being users of technology and start being creators of it.

    Create

Every course ends with something you built yourself — a robot, a circuit, a program that actually runs.

    Explore

We start from curiosity. Students test ideas, break things safely and find out how technology really works.

    Think

Engineering thinking is the real subject: define the problem, design a solution, test it, improve it.

    Compete

Robotics competitions turn learning into a team sport — with deadlines, rules and a finish line.

    Topic

    Our learning ecosystem

Eight connected fields that students move between as their skills grow.

    Robotics

Design, build and program robots that move, sense and decide.

    Electronics

Circuits, sensors, soldering and the physics behind every device.

    Programming

From block coding to Python and embedded C++.

    Artificial intelligence

Computer vision, machine learning and how to use AI responsibly.

    Internet of Things

Connected devices, data, dashboards and remote control.

    Engineering

Design thinking, prototyping, 3D printing and mechanics.

    Solar energy

Solar power, batteries, efficiency and sustainable engineering.

    STEAM

Where science, technology, engineering, art and maths meet.

    Projects

    Built by our students

Real projects, real problems, real mistakes and real breakthroughs.

    Programmable robot

The robot can follow a preset route. To do this, use the control keys on the front panel to set the robot's movement: forward, backward, right turn, left turn. The command sequence can be up to 10, and it's stored in an array.

    Device for lighting microgreens

Device for illuminating microgreens. A stand with a phytolamp was made above a container for growing microgreens, which can be turned on and off using the blynk application. The cost of components for the project has been calculated. And plans for the development of the project.

    For parents

    What your child actually gets

We know you want more than an after-school activity. Here is what we commit to.

    Small groups

A maximum of 8 students per instructor, so every question gets answered.

    Safe by design

Age-appropriate tools, supervised soldering, and clear safety rules in every session.

    Visible progress

Each term ends with a project your child can demonstrate and explain at home.

    Skills that transfer

Problem solving, teamwork, patience and persistence — useful far beyond robotics.

    Our philosophy

AI for learning. Not instead of learning.

AI helps our students generate ideas, explore questions, debug code and document their work. But students still define the problem, make the decisions, run the experiments and understand the result. The thinking stays human.
